Restaurant Empire goes gold

Enlight Software announces that development on its upcoming restaurant management game has been completed.

Enlight Software has today announced that Restaurant Empire has gone gold and is now being prepared to ship to retail next month. In the game, players assume the role of a young chef who's attempting to make a success of his uncle's restaurant so he can then go into competition with the powerful OmniFood restaurant conglomerate by building an empire of his own.

"Restaurant Empire blends many of the successful gameplay elements of our previous hit titles like the Capitalism series, while adding some unique features previously unseen in a strategy simulation title," said Trevor Chan, CEO of Enlight Software and lead designer on the game.
