I feel SC I was a 9.9/10 game, yet it missed some very very important 0.1 and didn't become the hit it deserved to. Strategic Zoom, size of maps, variety of units - everything was just overhelming, but the gameplay was somehow unbalanced, online sucked and it died rather fast. I still believe upcoming SC II will be one of the best strategy games ever, comparing only to Total War series or Starcraft, but we still have a long wait to see that happen :/

Anyone who played TotalA would see it IS much better than SupCom. The units of TotalA have characteristics and very real (though most if not all of them are unreal). The fighters were powerful whereas those in SupCom is a bunch of crap.

I agree with Nodashi, the whole point of having certain units that can deal with certain units is to mix up gameplay. Maybe a step in the wrong direction, have to wait and see. I'll still get it, TA SC whatever, RTS = win!

maybe the upgrades take a really long time? or are really expensive? that might stop any one unit from getting ridiculously strong

Looks great, but i wish the art direction wasnt soooooo cartoony

Very impressive. Looks like theyre loud and proud about how much theyre taking from demigod, nodashi has a point about how online play will turn out tho

    I'm frankly disappointed.

I had many disappointments with games where any unic can perform any role, and those kinds of upgrades that can be done to ANY unit usually lead to huge armies of nothing but a single unit upgraded to deal with every kind of target.

The unit mix what what really made Totala fun, but Chris seem to have lost that for SupCom (a great game, but where the bigger unit wins) and goin even worst this time.

New graphics engine, physics, good performance, new maps, strategic zoom, new units....25 experimental units---------omfg.. ! lol .. unless red alert 4 has strategic zoom then all rts even star craft 2 just got pawned. I'm pro. love sup com and forged alliance. Been abusing my quad core system ever since i got forged alliance. This is just sweet. Can wait for this game to come out

to nuke29: chris said that there will be water units so don't worry; and about the background, it is inspired by demigod's backgrounds, maps and the new art technique.

it looks so cool!!!!! the game is going to be spactecular and fantastic and I will buy it!

to explodinglamas: you're right square enix has influence on the game, though the influence is cool! go go go cybran-zila or whatever your name is

i think the playground is like demigod. I hope there'll be water units but it doesn't seem so.

i dont know, it doesnt feel right to me. it looked too cartoony and i got a huge feeling of pointless grandure from the level they were on. obviously we've got a long time to go to see how its going to shape up. but i can really feel the impace square enix has had on the game, and so far im not liking it.

Looks like its gonna be as huge as the last one. That's a good thing! The unit improvements are easily going to be the best update to it all. Not having to lose all those Tech 1 & 2 units like they're cannon fodder is great!

Amazing! I am definitely looking forward to it. The production values really did go up and I can't imagine the story being all that bad between Square Enix and Gas Powered Games.

I hope that they can make it run good on most PC's. Not that i couldnt run the first game good, but i would like a nice steady framerate even during big battles.
