New distributor for CDV games
Sudden Strike Forever and other CDV games will be distributed by Softek International.
CDV has announced that it will now publish its own games in North America and have Canada-based Softek International distribute them in that market. Two of CDV's previous games, Sudden Strike and Cossacks: European Wars, were published and distributed in North America by Strategy First. CDV has a number of games on the way, including the official expansion to Sudden Strike, Sudden Strike Forever; the adventure game Mystery of the Druids; and the RPG Divine Divinity.
CDV also announced its plans to publish Neocron, a sci-fi massively multiplayer game where players create a character in one of four different classes: psi monk, private eye, tank, or spy. These classes can be equipped with 20 different types of weapons, which can then be used in player vs. player matches. Neocron is scheduled for release at the end of the year.
