Activision releases a playable demo of its latest space-combat strategy game.
Activision has announced the release of a playable demo of Star Trek: Armada II, its latest space-combat strategy game. The demo includes one single-player mission as the Federation, as well as a multiplayer map that lets players play as either the Federation or the Borg.
Star Trek: Armada II is the sequel to Star Trek: Armada, which was released in February 2000. The new game, which was developed by Mad Doc Software, includes a new 3D tactical view, three single-player campaigns, and a number of multiplayer options.
