New Star Trek: Armada II Web site launches

Activision opens a new online site for its upcoming space-combat strategy game.

Activision has launched a new official Web site for its upcoming Star Trek real-time strategy game, Star Trek: Armada II. The new site features a general overview of the game's story and features, details about the game's ships, weapons, and space environments, and a gallery of screenshots. The site also includes discussion forums and links to related Web sites.

Star Trek: Armada II will include a new 3D tactical view, three single-player campaigns, and a number of multiplayer options. The game is in development at Mad Doc Software, and it is scheduled for release later this year.
