Blizzard will still be making a little bit of money out of the fan-created maps that will be placed for sale. A portion of the money will go to them... Still... this doesn't sound like a bad deal... It's only if Blizzard starts to get greedy and actually charge a monthly fee for BattleNet, that all hell will break loose. I've been hearing rumors about this lately...

Yet I doubt that such a thing will ever happen... I mean, how greedy can you be to actually charge a fee for using BattleNet? I'm pretty sure it's just paranoia from us fans now that we've been waiting for this game for so long... But I swear though, if Blizzard is ever going to start charging a monthly fee for BattleNet, I will not buy this game and I will literally go into the store, unzip my pants, and take a pi[]ss on the long awaited Starcraft 2!! xD

OK, you know what, screw Blizzard. Back in the day they were one of those user-based companies that had gamers dispersed within, not looking for cash too much. AND NOW! There's been so many rumors going around that they're going to start 'monetizing' Bnet so that you have to pay a monthly fee. WHAT THE HELL BLIZZARD?!?! It's not even worth buying

SC2, and only the first one for a CD key, will be the last game I ever buy from Blizzard ever again. WoW was enough but I was willing to give em one last chance for Starcraft's sake, looks like their screwing up... Bnet with no Ghost features... paid map feature(wtf?!) everyone is gunna toss on their lame maps or just hack around... THEN NO LAN?! What if me and my friends wanna play like we did with SC1 and War3?! NO LAN, WTF?! How does it stop pirating?! They still NEED A KEY TO GET ONLINE! Removing LAN BENEFITS NO ONE.

Time for Plan B... get me a CD key for Bnet then pirate pirate pirate for some campaigns.(Just what you claimed to wanna stop lol, you're encouraging it with this nonsense)

I'll be one of the guys that hacks premiums and makes them free lol, suck on that Blizzard, another one of your "schemes" will fail...

And of course still no indication of what they plan on doing to 'replace' the LAN feature with. All these features are really cool and all, but the least they could do is tell us about what we care about the most first, THEN move on to everything else. *sigh*

making people pay to play the good maps sounds like a risky idea to me...

Ehm,I remember when i and my friends made lan parties in my house and in some internet cafes ,I BUY GAMES , Why In HELL do they stop lan (They stop lan to stop Pirates), but i dont care , in my street i have got many friends That buy games constantly and we always play lan , they do something for the pirates , NOT FOR US, Actually I thank i and my friends , and we r not going to buy this , no in Hell, and wanna make us pay for MAPS, EHM, I just dont have enough words, and also for pirates , i heared from a guy in digg , that they are going to do what they did in L4D , Download the cracked single player from any torrent site and wait for the stand alone lan patch that makes the game somehow works lan with a complicated way, anyway , I am not going to buy any game from blizz again....., and mikeymike869 , what made u think they work hard ??
I think this is the 6 year to make it , How did besdtha make fallout 3 in 4 years only, i know its not online but anyway , iam sure its better than this....., and they have separated it in 3 parts not including the dlcs and markting items, Huh, Now for me its from the worst comapanis ever ,Like conti027 , EA is now from the best companis and 2k , and those other companis ,anyway not going to buy

the paid maps sounds like a wonderful grassroots system for independent game makers to get their practice. I'd be happy to support them for their hard work.

Mods have always been free. People don't make mods to make money out of it, they make it because it's their habbit. Most mod makers' prime wish is that many people will play and love their mod, and charging for that mod will mean that less people will play it.

I like the first series of Star Craft, and am liking the look and feel of this new one, but I am not a networking game player. I hope there are decent missions for single player. Looks good though!

While the paid maps are a bit iffy, the rest of the new Battle.net is awesome.

well I think its a good idea, that money will not go to blizzard. No one forces anyone to buy the fan made maps, but mod teams teams like the ppl that made DOTA would be able to make high quality maps and make some money for there effort. That would eventually motivate them even further to enhace there maps.

Paying for maps? No thanks.. i'll be sticking with the free ones.. its getting ridiculous, we pay full price for a game and every single extra thing is starting to make us fork our extra cash.

conti its funny how you go to all the trouble to swear, yet you *bleep* it out. kinda defeats the purpose

gay I wont pay for sh*t after I buy the game.. I understand why you have to pay for WoW but what they are doing with SC2 is just dumb bulls*it. Blizzard is turning into one of the worst companies. EA is looking better and better.
