Best-Selling Games
Sequels, expansions, and franchises continue to dominate the charts
PC Data has released its list of the top-selling games for the week of May 14-May 20, 2000. Once again, Disney's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2nd Edition tops the chart, and yet the original game still sits comfortably in fifth place. The Sims continues to attract players, holding on to second place. But if one counts SimCity 3000 and the Sim Mania Pack in the Sim family, this franchise dominates the chart. Also remaining strong is Roller Coaster Tycoon and Roller Coaster Tycoon: Corkscrew Follies. Age of Empires II is a nod ahead of EverQuest: Ruins of Kunark, the expansion to EverQuest.
