Seven Kingdoms to rule PCs again
The real-time strategy franchise comes back from six-year hiatus; its latest chapter, Seven Kindgoms: Conquest, encompasses 6,000 years of battle.
Enlight Software today announced that it is developing Seven Kingdoms: Conquest, a real-time strategy title for the PC. Conquest is the third full installment in the Seven Kingdoms franchise, which began in 1997 and continued with 1999's Seven Kingdoms II: The Fryhtan Wars. The newest title is being codeveloped by Enlight and Infinite Interactive and will be released in September. No rating or pricing information was available.
The game begins in 3000 BC in ancient Egypt and continues all the way through AD 3000 on a futuristic Earth. Gamers will be able to play as one of seven human civilizations or one of seven demon civilizations. The game features a brand-new 3D engine, a level editor, and multiplayer support.
We'll have more information on Seven Kingdoms: Conquest soon. To get a feel for the lauded franchise, check out our full review of Seven Kingdoms II: The Fryhtan Wars, which scored a 9.1.
