RCT3: Soaked! goes gold

New aquatic-themed expansion for Atari's theme-park sim rides into stores on June 21.

Break out the water wings! Atari today announced that RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! is complete and will be available in stores June 21. Soaked! is the first expansion pack for the PC game RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, the latest in the theme-park Tycoon series released last October. Soaked! and RCT3 were both developed by Frontier Developments, the studio out of Cambridge, England, that also worked on the expansion packs for RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 and Dog's Life.

The new add-on brings heaps of water-themed options to gamers' amusement parks. Fifty new attractions, including wave pools, log rides, and waterfalls, are at tycoons' fingertips to make sure their guests enjoy their stays at the park. Marine attractions, such as killer whale shows and performing dolphins, have also been added.
