Medieval 2 has the better graphics and battle engine, but this game has a much better strategic map.

Farticus, Back in early days of Gamespot video reviews, they would set up silly props like guns, swords, etc. that had some knd of relation to the game. It looked pretty cheesy though! Oh yea, I knew i recognized your name from the Eurogamer forums. Check out Greg's Soldier of Fortune II Double Helix review. He's wearing a commando hat.

Unki power your graphics card may not be supported by the game, this could be the reason why the game shuts down.

Why does Greg have horseshoes on the desk in front of him?

BTW, i used to play this game all the time when i was younger, but now it doesn't work on my 8600 GT, so Mauro, Humorguy is right.

Humorguy have you finished to broke the balls? It works on the 8000 series video card. Stop with this BS and writing the same things over and over. Retarded!!!!!!

Shame it and Shogun don't work with the most popular videocards - the nvidia 8000 series of cards. Shame on you Creative Assembly for not doing anything about it, when you still have a compilation including this title in the shops and on your website for sale
