G.I. Combat goes gold

Strategy First announces that its World War II real-time strategy game is finished.

Strategy First and developer Freedom Games have today announced that G.I. Combat has gone gold and is currently in manufacturing. In the game, players will get to take command in battles between the Germans and Americans in the Normandy region of France during and after the famous D-Day landings.

G.I. Combat is scheduled to ship on November 5, a week earlier than was originally planned. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
