New Far Gate screens

Microids releases new screenshots from its upcoming real-time strategy game set in outer space.

Microids has released a new group of screenshots from its upcoming space-based real-time strategy game, Far Gate. The new screens provide looks at some of the game's colorful visual effects and outer-space environments.

Far Gate is set in a 3D universe populated with a variety of objects including asteroids, planets, nebulae, and spacecraft. Players assume the role of Jacob Viscero, an ex-smuggler whose mission is to lead a group of colonists to safety and seek revenge against his enemies. The game features 16 story-driven missions and more than 70 unique flyable spacecraft.

Far Gate was developed by Super X Studios, and it is scheduled for release on September 11. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
