New media: Far Gate

Microids sends us a group of new screenshots and a new video trailer from its forthcoming space real-time strategy game.

Microids has released a new group of screens from its upcoming real-time strategy game, Far Gate. The game is set in a colorful universe populated with a variety of planets, nebulae, asteroids, and other objects. It features more than 70 flyable spacecraft and a detailed storyline that unfolds over the course of the game's 16 missions. Players assume the role of Jacob Viscero, an ex-smuggler on a quest to save a group of colonists and seek revenge against his enemies.

Far Gate is in development at Seattle-based Super X Studios and is scheduled for release September 11. For more information, watch the new video trailer linked below, and take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
