Take a look at Sierra's upcoming city-building game in these exclusive screenshots.

Sierra sent GameSpot a group of exclusive screenshots from Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom, its upcoming city-building game. The new screens show off some of the structures and environments that will appear in the game.

Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom is set in ancient China and lets players assume the role of a governor and lead their city through history. It also features a multiplayer mode in which players control neighboring cities and can either compete against each other or work together over the Internet.

Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom is being developed at BreakAway Games, and it is scheduled for release this fall. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
