Red Alert 2 bundle coming next month

Command & Conquer Red Strike, Westwood's upcoming real-time strategy compilation, will include Red Alert 2 and the Yuri's Revenge expansion.

EA and Westwood Studios are planning to release Command & Conquer Red Strike, a bundle that includes both the popular real-time strategy game Command & Conquer Red Alert 2, as well as the Yuri's Revenge expansion pack. According to a company representative, no new game content will be included in the bundle. Red Strike is expected to be available in stores next month for an approximate retail price of $37.25.

Red Alert 2 was released in October 2000 and became the best-selling game for the month of November 2000. The game is based on an alternate-reality conflict between Allied and Soviet forces. Yuri's Revenge was released in October 2001, and it adds a number of features to the game, including new campaigns, units, and multiplayer modes, as well as a third playable faction.
