It amazes me how expensive these compilations are. Considering the age of the programs in compilations they should sell for far less.

EA cut out the story that was connecting Red Alert to Tiberian Dawn. If you dont know, Red Alert was supposed to explain why TIberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun happened. Instead, Red Alert 2 completely removed that connection.

"Well ive got all the c&c but im still gona buy this box set just outa respect for all the hours/days/months/years of quality gaming the series as brought my – here’s to the next 10 baby "

Did you read what I sad. You aren't supporting the people who brought you quality gaming. You're supporting EA who stole C and C from Westwood. If you want to support the people who brought you these games, buy Star Wars: Empire at War. Westwood created the great C&C games, not EA. Westwood is now Petroglyph. I think it's a better idea to pay for a new experience and support the people who deserve it rather than pay for the same experience you have, and give money to people who don't deserve it.

Star War is a milked franchise... so what? That has nothign to do with the game. the game is unique. Try the demo. It's unlike any other RTS i've ever played before, and it's good!

This is freakin sweet. And hell I don't care about it being from EA, if its a good game I'll get it.

Now that sounds like a serious piece of collector value there.

"Please do not buy this package. EA is taking the credit for westwood's work and it breaks my heart to see the EA logo slapped on these masterpieces that the workers over at petroglyph (westwood reincarnated) worked so hard on. Please save your money and get Star Wars: Empire at War."

Trading in one over-milked franchise for another? Yeesh. Try Act of War instead.

Almost every game in this pack is fantastic! A lot of people hate Generals, but I loved it. The real stinker was Renegade. It had great nostolgia value and it was just cool to be able to see all those buildings from up close and inside, but it really sucked overall!

There should be a movie from the Original/Tiberian Sun! With good director/actors etc. Red Alert series was awesome but Generals sucked, EA really screwed it up! But I think they could make another really good C & C if they get the right people to do the story and i actually prefer the 2D enviroment.
