    timbrom is right, the combat animations are all screwed up after applying this patch, you have no idea of how the battle is going until it's over. It's very annoying. DO NOT INSTALL THIS PATCH.

    This patch also broke combat! At least, it broke the animated battles, with units disappearing, reappearing and dying at random. DO NOT LOAD THIS PATCH UNTIL FIRAXIS FIX IT.

    Is that really the full fix list, an 80mb download for a Vista-only issue, the latest directx which either comes with Vista or has been out for donkeys years, and an update to the version number? Yeesh
