Call to Power II Gold
Activision's sequel to Civilization: Call to Power is complete.
Activision announced today that Call to Power II, a sequel to Civilization: Call to Power, has officially gone gold. Call to Power II gives players an opportunity to build an empire from the ground up. There are several new features to aid players in this task, such as a new interface, more detailed diplomacy options, and virtual mayors that oversee the day to day operations of players' cities. Various enhancements have been made to individual units, which now have armor and damage attributes in addition to the traditional attack and defense statistics. Also, greater emphasis has been placed on creating units in three different categories - melee, flanking, and ranged. Call to Power II features three scenarios, including an Alexander the Great scenario, a World War III scenario, and a scenario set in feudal Japan.
Call to Power II is currently scheduled to hit store shelves on November 19.
