Deep Silver announces Alexander the Great
Deep Silver announces the development of Alexander the Great, an historical strategy and role-playing game for the PC. First screens inside.
UK-based Deep Silver today announced that it plans to release Alexander the Great for the PC in Europe this November. Described as a 3D historical real-time strategy and role-playing game, Alexander the Great has been in development at Meridian 93 since February.
"There is a huge amount of interest in classical history at the moment, and this title is a beautiful 3D gaming experience. We think this will be a great success for us," said Craig McNichol, managing director of Koch Media.
No further information on Alexander the Great has been released at the time of this writing, save for the fact that the game will see players assuming command of a squad of Alexander's elite Macedonian soldiers. We'll bring you more on Alexander the Great as soon as it becomes available.
