Age of Sail II complete
TalonSoft announces that its upcoming naval combat game has gone gold and will soon ship to stores. Two new screens inside.
TalonSoft has announced that Age of Sail II has gone gold and will ship to stores by the end of January. The game was developed by Russian studio Akella, the creator of the original Age of Sail, which was released in 1996. Age of Sail II is a real-time 3D naval combat game that takes place during the heyday of the tall ships. Players can sail more than 1,200 historical warships that were used by 11 different nations between 1775 and 1820. In addition, a multiplayer mode supports up to 16 players over a LAN or Internet connection.
