Developers Launch Age of Sail II Site

Akella launches a website for the follow-up to Age of Sail.

Akella announced today that the official website for Age of Sail II is now open to the public. Like its predecessor, Age of Sail II consists of real-time naval combat with 3D models and landscapes. Akella says there will be over 2000 historical ships and 100 historical scenarios in the game, focusing on confrontations between American and British forces between 1775 and 1820. Age of Sail II is due out in the fall of 2000.
