Sunflowers has today announced that 1503 A.D. - Treasures, Monsters, and Pirates, the upcoming expansion pack for 1503 A.D. - The New World, will be published worldwide by Electronic Arts. The expansion pack will add a number of enhancements to the original game, including a new battle scenario for beginners, three new continuous-play games, and 12 additional single-player scenarios.
1503 A.D. - Treasures, Monsters, and Pirates is currently scheduled for release this spring and will be available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch. We'll bring you more information on the expansion pack as soon as it becomes available.

While there is a lot less that's new in 1503 A.D. than you would expect in a sequel released three years after its predecessor, the core gameplay that made the original game engaging remains intact.
