OK after playing FIFA10 on PC I decided that PES10 couldn't be worse than FIFA (PC), so at least I won't have any choice...

fifa 10's demo is much better but its just a demo when the whole thing comes out then we will see which one of them is better

this game looks like it could be quite good. there are still a few things which need fixing, and will hopefully be fixed before the final release... if they are, then this will make for a very good game of football. something that PC gamers have been lacking for the past few years.

I really wanted to like this. Desperately. The FIFA 10 demo is shocking on PC, half-hearted PS2 port. Whilst PES has come up trumps with the graphics this year, unfortunately it feels stilted, stodgy and sluggish. Even turning V-sync off to resolve the input lag doesn't save it. Don't get me wrong, it plays a decent game, but decent won't cut it this year. And I see little evidence of the 360 degree motion either. To a certain extent whilst dribbling, but passing etc still feels eight-way.

Maybe I made the mistake of playing the FIFA 10 console demo first, but it shows how far behind Konami are. That game is fluid, natural and organic, with responsive and instant controls. PES, as much as I have loved it in the past, doesn't. Give credit to Konami for giving us exactly what the console gamers get, and let's hope in the meantime for PC gamers who don't have a console, that EA Sports realise that current PC's can more than handle what consoles do.

oh and they changed aerial challenges behaviour, i think it's a bit better but the first touch is just screwed so it's not really an improvement, just a change...

k guys i'm really trying to like the demo, but it's almost impossible. 1) when u use double pass (which i use a lot), the first passer runs to an impossible position, right into the defence instead of finding space or towards the goal. + it takes a while until he starts running.
2)transfers are not complete, and if it's like last year - it won't be fixed in the final version.
3)u can't do anything fast anymore unless u take barcelona, because all of the players except messi and iniesta require another step.
4)through balls and passes are so weak and slow that u just can't use 70% of the chances and blitzes become really weird.
5)lots of weird behaviour from GK and defenders with dead balls.

I can still make some great 6 pass goals but it just feels so unnatural, unlike previous PES games... Please try to enlighten me on "what is improved" this year because i'm getting frustrated
