Kayak Extreme ships
Global Star's kayak racing game is paddling its way to stores.
Global Star Software has announced that Kayak Extreme, its kayak racing game, has shipped and will soon arrive in stores. The game lets players race down authentic kayak racecourses, complete with waterfalls and reverse gates. The courses are set in a variety of locations, including alpine mountain streams, African rivers, and Alaskan flows. The game features an advanced water-physics system that realistically simulates river currents, white water, and buoyancy. Advanced players can execute difficult maneuvers such as pirouettes and Eskimo rolls, while beginners can practice their skills in the game's training area.
Kayak Extreme was developed by UK-based Small Rockets, and it will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.99.
