Blazing Angels dive-bombing PCs

WWII air-combat game flies onto new platform; PC version leaves runway alongside Xbox and Xbox 360 editions next month.

Angels do their best work in threes. Jim Edmonds, Garrett Anderson, and Tim Salmon of the late 1990s Anaheim Angels put fear in MLB pitchers' hearts, and Charlie's crime-busting ladies were always in a set of three. Now Ubisoft's Blazing Angels are also taking on the world as a triplet.

Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII, previously announced for the Xbox and Xbox 360, will now also appear on a third platform, the PC. All three versions are set to take off in March and are currently being developed by Ubisoft's Romanian studios, which created the submarine simulation Silent Hunter III.

In Blazing Angels, gamers take to the skies in authentically re-created World War II fighting planes. The game offers air, sea, and land targets to shoot down, in a variety of battle re-creations in Pearl Harbor, France, Germany, and more. Dozens of missions are featured in the single-player campaign, and up to 16 players can dogfight in the online multiplayer mode.

Ubisoft has not yet released pricing and rating information for the PC version of Blazing Angels. For more information on the game, read GameSpot's recent hands-on preview.

But Sociologist... now not even Halo is an XBOX exclusive. As for playing in front of a TV rather than behind the desk... well if you've got TV out you're all set.

You can play Halo 2 at 1080 i in your couch. At least that's what I got.... Though I'm not really into Halo. The first one was a disapointment for me.

but doooood.... it's ubisoft, and you mentioned call of duty, that's activision, they rarely shell out exclusives, next thing i'll hear complaining about is that madden is gonna be on ps3 as well.... besides, ubi multi plat's are always nicer on xbox ... SPLINTER CELL!!! !!!...... wait.... ... september.... ....besides, they got tons of exclusives coming later on) lost planet(was that it, i don't remember) and dead rising! capcom be good with the games, and they be putting good stuff for 360, besides, mgs has only put out 3 games right now, they're gonna be pumpin out stuff soon as well...

Get Resident Evil DS and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max(psp)!!! Support the greatness that is Capcom!

It costs thousands of dollars to have a rig as powerful as the 360. I'd rather be in my living room playing on my tv ,then sitting behind a desk. MGS 2 made it's way to Xbox, and GC. If the new wave of systems weren't coming out MGS3 probably would have done the same. There aren't many exclusives anymore.

A lack of exclusive titles for the Xbox360 will most certainly harm the system in the long run. What is MS thinking? They need more exclusives than Halo 3 to stand a chance in the next-gen cycle.

I always wanted to buy an XBOX. Always. Ever since came out, I was looking for a reason to buy one... and it never came. All the XBOX games I want come for PC eventually and look better.

Why do you care if its coming out on another platform, you propably would be getting the same game as you would have if it was exclusive to just one platform.
