Bedingfield sings simlish in new Sims soundtrack

Natasha Bedingfield, They Might Be Giants, Datarock, and more in The Sims 2: FreeTime soundtrack.

Pop star Natasha Bedingfield is the latest big-name artist to get the simlish treatment. The English songstress is rerecording one of her songs in the language of the Sims for the latest expansion pack for The Sims 2.

FreeTime is the seventh expansion pack for The Sims 2, and will feature Bedingfield's song "Pocketful of Sunshine" sung completely in simlish. Bedingfield joins a long line of artists who have previously rerecorded their songs in the unique gibberish language of the Sims, including The Black Eyed Peas, Depeche Mode, Howard Jones, The Flaming Lips, and The Pussycat Dolls.

As well as Bedingfield, an eclectic mix of international acts has also been named for The Sims 2: FreeTime. The soundtrack is as follows.

Great Northern / "Into The Sun"
I'm From Barcelona / "Britney"
Lara / "La Otra Princesa"
Lexington Bridge / "Your Forgiveness"

Ugh... They Might Be Giants is probably the worst thing to come out of Boston since Ted Kennedy.

Particle man, particle man, does all the things that a particle can. What's he like? It's not important, particle man. Is he a dot? Or is he a speck? When he's underwater, does he get wet? Or does the water get him instead? Nobody knows. Particle man.

I love how they do these. I remember the Black Eyed Peas in The Urbz. That was funny hearing their songs in Simlish.

I always love hearing these 'real' songs being sung in Simlish, its so funny. Lily Allen's song was pretty good
