Strike Fighters: Project 1 ships
Strategy First's 1960s-era combat flight sim is now available.
Strategy First has announced that Strike Fighters: Project 1 has started shipping to stores. The game is set during the 1960s and lets players fly jet fighters from the era like the F-4 Phantom II and the F-104G Starfighter. The game was designed by Tsuyoshi Kawahito, who was responsible for the acclaimed late-'90s simulations Jane's Longbow 2 and European Air War.
The final version of Strike Fighters is now shipping to retail stores nationwide, but during the summer an early, incomplete version of the game was sold in Wal-Mart stores. For more details on Strike Fighters, check out our previous coverage of the game.
