JetFighter IV

JetFighter IV will be a modern-day combat-flight simulation that will combine user-friendly controls with fast, 3D-accelerated graphics. You'll be able to engage in heated dogfights in some of the most powerful combat jets ever made.

TalonSoft's JetFighter IV is the fourth installment of Mission Studios' JetFighter series; a group of games known for their real-world combat-flight sim gameplay, which makes use of authentic fighter jets, attack choppers, tanks, and ground artillery. JetFighter IV will feature even better graphics, sound, and control than its predecessors. As with the previous games in the series, JetFighter IV will take place in present-day times and will include some of the most popular combat flight jets available.

Although JetFighter IV won't be a completely orthodox flight sim, you can expect to see a number of accurately modeled real-world fighter jets, tanks, and enemy choppers, both on your wing and on the other end of the field. You'll be able to fly the swift F-18 Hornet, the high-tech F-22 Raptor, and the classic F-14 Tomcat. You can expect to tangle with plenty of enemy tanks and armor on the ground, and with some of the toughest attack choppers - such as the Z-8 Super Frelon, the Z-9 Dauphin, and the Ka-28 Helix. Some of the meanest enemy fighter jets - like the MiG-29, the MiG-42, and the SU-27 - will also contest you in the air. Although JetFighter IV's campaigns and missions will take place in a fictitious, alternate near-future, rest assured that the game's many international theaters of war - and all of the enemy vehicles and ordnance thrown at you - will be quite realistic.

The fourth installment of the JetFighter series is scheduled for release in October of this year.
