The North American version of Infogrames' latest space combat simulation, Independence War II: The Edge of Chaos, has gone gold. The game was previously released in Europe, and it is scheduled for release next week in North America.
Independence War II takes place many years after the events in the previous game. Players assume the role of Cal Johnson, an ex-convict on a quest to avenge his father's death while trying to make a living in the far reaches of outer space. The game was developed by Particle Systems, and it will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $39.95. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game. We'll post a full review of the game soon.
