Heavy Gear on TV
Paradox Entertainment announces an upcoming Sony Pictures animated television series based on the Heavy Gear universe.
Swedish game developer Paradox Entertainment today announced that Sony Pictures Family Entertainment will soon begin its Heavy Gear animated television series. The new series is set in the Heavy Gear universe, which is featured in the Heavy Gear giant robot simulation games. The Heavy Gear universe is licensed and jointly copyrighted by Paradox and Canadian Dream Pod 9.
The new animated series will begin airing on Saturday mornings across the US in mid-September. The shows follow the story of Marcus Steven Rover, a young pilot recruited into a special dueling squad. His team must battle the opposing team in a series of events set in Trash City.
