E3 2002: Falcon: Operation Infinite Resolve announced
G2 Interactive officially announces its upcoming installment in the classic military flight simulation series.
Texas-based G2 Interactive has announced Falcon: Operation Infinite Resolve, its upcoming installment in the classic Falcon military flight simulation series. The game is different from Falcon V, G2's unannounced Falcon game. The new game, which is in development at Force 12 Studios, will let players take control of the F-16 and the A-10 Warthog on a series of missions, including Korean-theater missions against global terrorist networks. It will also feature a complete mission and campaign editor that lets players create their own scenarios for the game, and a pilot training program that emphasizes ease-of-use and combat awareness. In addition to the single-player components, the game will include multiplayer support for up to 12 players over LAN and Internet connections.
Falcon: Operation Infinite Resolve is scheduled for release this fall. We'll post more information about the game as it becomes available.
