Microsoft sent GameSpot a group of exclusive screenshots today from Combat Flight Simulator 3, its upcoming World War II flight combat game. The new screenshots show off some of the detailed aircraft models and environments that players will encounter in the game.
Combat Flight Simulator 3 is set in Europe during World War II, and it will improve upon the previous games in the series with a new graphics engine, an enhanced multiplayer mode, and new role-playing elements. The game will feature approximately 18 different aircraft from the US Army Air Force, the RAF, and the Luftwaffe, including some early jet fighters from the end of the war. Missions in the game will include both high-altitude dogfights and low-altitude bombing runs.
