Combat Flight Simulator 2 Gold

Microsoft's latest air combat game is complete and will be in retail stores soon.

Microsoft has announced that its upcoming sequel to 1998's Combat Flight Simulator has gone gold and is expected to arrive in retail stores in early October. The sequel takes the battles to the skies of the South Pacific during World War II. In the game's single-player campaign, players assume the role of a novice pilot striving to become an ace and influence the course of the war. The campaign will let players fly for either the Japanese or the US Navy in over 130 missions.
