Daily Downloads: Battle of Britain II Updated

New patch for the World War II combat game joined by mods galore and wallpaper packs.

Battle of Britain II: Wings of Victory was updated to v2.06 today, improving the game's engine, artificial intelligence, visuals, and effects, as well as adding authentic flight modeling.

Joining this patch on GameSpot is a series of new or updated mods for Half-Life, Half-Life 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, and World of Warcraft. Also new are maps for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and Counter-Strike: Source Zombie Horde; game clients for Myth War, Minions of Mirth, and Trickster Online; and wallpaper packs for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, and Shadowrun.

    This is one of Gamespot's better ideas. I hope they keep it up. It's added new life to my gaming collection.

    oh sorry but im really bored of WWII. As a theme for games that is. I think i needs to be given a break. Its just getting to the point where i no longer about what happened then. Please lets focus on other wars
