This should chnage the whole gaming experience, lots of options nad looks quite comfortable, even though a little big (as it looks). And the price is in the same price range than other high quality Logitech or Razer mices... Gonna wait t'il release on December 15 and go try it, and after i'll see

$99 bucks is totally reasonable for the amount of added control they are throwing into this mouse. I just hope that it controls as well as similar priced mice from Razor, Microsoft, and Logitech. Otherwise it'll be a pretty, 15-button, paperweight.

    wtb trackball with 15 buttons

Good mouse but it is quite costly but the 15 buttons are still really useful so it's pretty much worth it for any avid WoW player. http://www.amazon.co.uk/World-Warcraft-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B001GQ2HQW/

I'd like to know more specs on it; the steelseries website is pretty sparse on details.

What are the actual dimensions of the mouse? This is pretty important to mouse-users that can't actually get their hands on a mouse to 'test' the feel of it. Personally I prefer mice that are at least as long as the Logitech G5/G7 series; the G9 was too short and I ended up giving it to my wife.

It is difficult to tell the size of this mouse without a comparison photo or at least the dimensions listed somewhere.

Is there a visual indicator of the current DPI setting?

15 buttons is quite a lot, I must say. It does look kind of comfortable though.

Seems really cool, but why such a high price like that?

I've played WoW with trackball mouse and nothing beats it! I can just put my mouse on the arm of my chair and sit back. Since with Trackball you have no need to clear a space on your desk to move it all over the place, all I do is move my right thumb to move the cursor How is that not the best?

Too many buttons for my taste ,I went with the 7000 from microsoft.
    More simple the better.
    If I don't use it, I don't need it.

Microsoft and Logitech's Gaming Mice are around that price. As long as the quality is there I could see someone grabbing it. It's biggest advantage as someone mentioned was that it was built for WoW and not a FPS. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not to invest. A cheaper price would be a enough to push me over.

They should make the mouse ugly...so it will resemble wows graphics

It's too expensive but I guess it's worth the price for the buttons it features. The last blizzcon I was introduced to the Logitech G-Series mouse and after a month of use the rubber started to wear off on all sides of the mouse and including the bottom. Expensive mouses and keyboards should not be taken lightly especially if your using them every single day for hours. Look at the price and wear and tear. Too expensive in my book.

Finally a gaming mouse that isn't made for FPS games. I was just about to buy that 8 button Logitech mouse that was $99. Now I'm getting this. No company listens. All the mice they make are geared to FPS games with dpi settings and such.

    it seems cool but confusing
and its gonna be all out of stock like very week
and people would only buy it if you play WOW otherwise it a waste if 100 bucks for anything use

I just want to warn those that are looking to purchase this mouse. I was at Blizzcon and got to hold the mouse and it has almost no heft to it and as such is quite cheap feeling. I did not play with the software at all, nor did I actually use the mouse in a game setting so I won't speak to that at all, but just holding the mouse in the hand was enough to let me know that it's not for me. Too many years using Logitech mice, I guess.

So the warning is be sure to actually get your hands on it before you make the purchase.

cord mice have a better response time. this makes them better for gamming experience. plus you dont need to change the batteries!
