Collectible Wizards & Warriors

Activision plans to release a collectors edition of its upcoming fantasy RPG.

Activision has announced that it will offer a limited quantity of special collectors editions for Wizards & Warriors, the upcoming fantasy role-playing game. The move follows the commercial success of several recent collectors editions for role-playing games, including that of Activision's Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption. Wizards & Warriors is a 3D party-based role-playing game designed by D.W. Bradley, who is best known for his work on the Wizardry series.

The special edition will included two miniatures produced by Ral Partha for the game, a map poster, a BradyGames mini-strategy guide, specially decorated packaging, and an entry card for a chance to win a suit of armor. The collectors edition of Wizards & Warriors can be preordered from EBWorld and Babbages for US$55.
