The Heroes formula clearly stands the test of time in Heroes IV and is every bit as enjoyable as it's ever been in previous games.
Except for the new maps and a handful of minor gameplay changes, there's absolutely nothing in Shadow of Death that Heroes veterans haven't seen before.
Though it may seem difficult for beginners, Age of Wonders II sounds good, looks great, plays terrific, and improves on every aspect of the original game.
