Played the Witcher demo and it is briliant.
The only wrong with the demo is that it stops.

I will be buying the game as soon as possible.

Find another mirror people.
FileShack is always a reliable resource. And free of BS, it has a good DL rate. GS is top-rate for news and community, but lacks in downloads

when I try and install this I get this message:

CRC failed in data2.cab
Unexpected end of archive

and it asks me to re-download the demo, it's done this like 5 times so far.

if you are missing a .dll file in any game, just google search it, and you'll find a place that has it for download. trust me on this, my games are always missing .dll files

p.s. THIS IS A HUGE FILE FOR A DEMO!!!

it happened to me that some dll file wasnt found so i just upgraded the directx version to the one in november and it worked i dont know about u guys but it helped me

got demo to work great but now the full version doesn't even load past the "Launch Witcher" button. Wish i could play this game.

I have directx9, the patch won't install if the demo is not installed correctly. I get the error "CRC failed in DATA2.CAB". After hours of downloading....

The download works fine. You just have to get the patch plus have direct x version 9 or better.

I actually think the game is pretty good but this demo crashes all the time. Even with the patch. Hopefully they worked out the bugs in the real game.

I got an error message too after downloading it twice and reinstalling it. d3dx9_35.dll not found. Did a Dll file search on the net and found it’s a DirectX component. Updated to the November 2007 edition and it seemed to fix the problem. Hope this helps.
