rideru: oblivion has a included a default mod manager... you can download another if you want to

JakRules365: mine works perfectly on vista :/ but even vista is still a windows so you gotta expect unexpected errors

I've got to wait for this to download...205 megabytes? Should be worth it - otherwise i'm going to have to go to my local computer store for a few terabytes of RAM...

I tried setting this up on vista and the autoinvalidation program didnt work, so i made the .txt file myself. But for some reason, Only the weather mod worked. Anyone have any advice?

All my lighting is surrounded by purple light, any ideas on how to fix this? I downloaded this pack and it caused it.

Just got this game the other day. More out of curiosity then actually being a fan of the series, and I have to hand it Bethesda, from a graphical stand-point this game is amazing. It kills my up-to-date computer.

I cannot get any of the mods to work Except the ones with the esp file. I've read all the documents included and did everything they said. I place everything in the oblivion/data folder as requested. I ran this activation utility in the data folder and created a file then renamed it to what it said. Nothing is working, I'm using the 200mb mod pack and ran though each mod and did what it said. Anyone up for remote asistance to do it for me? or even talk me though it? PM me if you are willing to give me a hand. Thanks

Simply put it in the folder (don't remember which one ), if u did everything tidily, when u run the icon, there is a line that says data and u have to tick the mod's name. Is easier than what appear!

i added all the files to the places mentioned in the readme's but now all the ground textures have been replaced by the same square, which appears to be a purpleish main map showing the imperial city and some surrounds, whats the go with that? anyone know how to fix it?
