Neverwinter Nights Gold Edition ships

Expanded version of classic Dungeons and Dragons game starts to hit shelves today.

Neverwinter Nights Gold Edition, an expanded version of the acclaimed 2002 Dungeons and Dragons title, has shipped to stores. Besides the original version of the BioWare-developed role-playing game, the Gold Edition will contain the Aurora Toolset and Dungeon Master client, as well as a new single-player campaign.

The Gold Edition will also feature a bevy of new skills, spells, monsters, weapons, and feats, as well as the Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide expansion pack. It does not include the upcoming NWN: Hordes of the Underdark expansion, which is due in December.

Rated 'T' for teen, the Neverwinter Nights Gold Edition retails for $39.99.
