Ship, ship, ship, ship upgrade, ship, other ship...
I hope there is something else except buying/upgrading ships.
Can we land or fight on some planet, how stations look like, can we walk around station, what are some mission goals, how coop looks like and is there any, what about PvP and some epic battles, is there some evolving story etc. etc.
    Piss poor PR guys.

Great!, Thanks for the Interview. I'll wait for the release! I'm an enthusiastic of Space games... but not the online ones (all), though... (what about a sequel with S.Player story, or a whole new game?) Just a thought. Keep it up!

i enjoy eve very much, this sounds like another good game...as long as there is character development and good missioning or questing whatever you want to call it so you dont have to do pvp if you dont want, and i love the idea of crafting and mining/production/trading too..nice...but pity only 3 factions...

Well it sounds like another space combat game like Nexus or Freelancer.
If you want a game where you can do anything then join Eve-Online. Considering this sounds like they stole ideas from Eve and that Jumpgate is on separate servers. Unlike Eve which is on one serve with over 50,000 people playing against each other instead of just a thousand or so. Join Eve-Online, you won't be disappointed.

He must have said "you know" about fifty times, lol. Anyway, I really want this game to be good, but so far it sounds really generic and cookie cutter as far as space games go. Randomizing quest chains doesn't mean there are "millions of possibilities," it means you and your friend do the exact same quests, but in a jumbled order.

I sincerely hope combat quests aren't go kill x bad guys, transport is take this package to point B, and crafting isn't the usual a+b = c. I am just going to think happy thoughts and imagine the devs are pouring in tons of innovative depth, because I haven't seen any inklings of it yet.

That looks like Tachyon: The Fringe, aside from the MMO part. Actually Tachyon had an OK multiplayer mode for a little while, but it was pretty basic. You just flew out of a base and started shooting at the other team. The jump gates look very similar to the ones in Tachyon. The yellow-colored space station looks a lot like "New Vegas Station" also.

I hope they fix the nightmares in the Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative. Taking 20 minutes to fly across a sector, only to be killed by a higher-level NPC and start over again stinks. If they pattern it on Tachyon, tho, I'm in.

The game and the gameplay look very good, I just hope that it doesn't end up like a EVE ONLINE game, because that would it be a rip out game, and will die like many other MMO from Codemaster.

they inspired themselves from Tachyon when they created the jumpgate( i mean it looks like the jumpgates in tachyon) .
i hope they took some other things from that game too, maybe the dog fight. i ll keep my fingers crossed too

Finally, could this be the game that Freelancers everywhere can call home? All depends on how steep the learning curve is though. Game looks great, I have my fingers crossed.

That is the worst interview ever, why do they have to close up on this weird dude's face so much. This interview is ABOUT the game, show us the game will you ? Why do I need to be staring at his nose, ears & face so closely when the game screens are right behind him :/, not to mention the boring tone of voice he has. But the game certainly looks interesting..

hope this will provoke EVE online so they can change some focus of the game aspect that some people dont like... for example, reward time play online unlike now and also accelerate speed in game, so it does not take hours to travel through space just to get in touch of your friend... not that much change but just some to enjoy more flaxible game play...not lifeplay... its a game and should be it more I think. Anyway, for this is Jumpgate Evolution, I will defenatly give it a good chance. look interesting for now.
