    Why i can't install this patch??
    my game version now is 1.5
    and when i try to install v1.6 patch, the installer just disappear after extract the GFWLiveSetupMin.exe
    and when i check my fallout.exe version, it's still V1.5
    does anyone have problem like this?

    It doesn't seem to like that I have Games For Windows disabled and just to just stop at that point anyway.... oh well... 1.5 worked well enough

    game is running cool without it then what is the need.
    nomatter what it is a update so it do good for the game.

    The game will still play fine without this, it just adds a few extra achievements. They're completely optional, so if you don't want them, you don't have to download this patch.

    Achievements are for both Xbox Live and Game for Windows Live. You can use the same account for both services, and the achievement points you earn on each will be added together.

    This doesn't change anything, or fix any bugs. It only adds some more achievements for people with the Point Lookout expansion.

    I'm playing Point Lookout just fine without this. What difference does it make? And aren't "achievements" only for the XBOX?
