New media: EverQuest: The Shadows of Luclin
Take a look at some of the new character models featured in Sony's upcoming online role-playing game expansion.
Sony Online Entertainment sent us a group of new screenshots from EverQuest: The Shadows of Luclin, its upcoming online role-playing game expansion. The new screens show off some of the enhanced character models that will be featured in the expansion. The new character models include more than 2200 polygons, compared to between 400 and 500 polygons included in the previous character models. In addition, the expansion will feature more detailed textures of up to 512x512 resolution.
EverQuest: The Shadows of Luclin will add a number of new features to the popular online role-playing game EverQuest, including improved graphics, a variety of new monsters and items, and a large new world. The expansion is in development at Verant Interactive, the studio that created the original game and the previous expansions, and it is scheduled for release in early December.
