Elveon becomes Unreal
10tacle Studios to use third version of Epic's engine in development of its next-gen action RPG.
10tacle Studios Slovakia has licensed the Unreal Engine 3 for use in development of its next-generation game, Elveon. The action role-playing game is currently in development for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 and is scheduled for release in 2007.
"Unreal Engine 3 has already proven to us that it is going produce fantastic results, while saving us time and money on this project," said Jūrgen Reusswig, managing director at 10tacle. "It not only has fantastic graphics but also is on an advanced development stage, which we need for a real next-generation project such as Elveon."
The game is set in the fantasy world Naon at a period of time when elves ruled. Players must attempt to fulfill a prophecy left by the gods: the liberation of a city called Nimathar. More information can be found at the official Elveon Web site.
