    I really didn't think godfather 2 was that bad of a game. Fear 2 wasn't bad but nothing was really improved from the first game. And as for Chris Redfield using drugs, it would have been better if it showed him punching the boulder at the end of the game. I mean come on, he punches a boulder as hard as he can to try and move it??

    On Batman being nom'd for the last one: Par for the course, seeing that it's on the Unreal Engine 3. Ridiculously overmuscled men are an engine feature.

    I don't have a problem with in-game advertising, most of the time.

    Sure, when it's in dragon age I'm just like what the ****, and it totally breaks immersion - I would have chosen that to win, for that reason.

    But when it's in a current day game, I love it. It makes me feel more absorbed in this world, like it's actually ME in the game. Rather than having 'cuke' machines that make me completely remember this place is NOT real, I love having a coke or whatever. It makes me feel much warmer.

    Ok, maybe that was a bad example. In-game advertising would not work in fallout. But you get the idea.

    @Payasoplas -- Just like every year, we offer the editors' choices, but let our readers vote in the readers' choice awards and showcase those awards in January. This is explained in the very first paragraph of our Best-Of feature. Also, Chinatown Wars was not nominated in four of the five categories you mentioned.

    @hyperknight9 -- MUA2 for the 360/PS3 was nominated for best use of a creative license. The PSP and Wii versions were nominated for the worst use category.

    Yeah as BuiltForSin said, Terminator should have been the worst game everyone played, because I don't think anyone played any of those other games. And for worst box art, I think Guitar Hero 5 should have "won". That is a very boring box.

    @ BuiltForSin RE5's co-op and graphical updates make it a much better sequel then Fear 2. Fear 2 didn't really bring anything new to the table.

    people played GI Joe? Out of curiosity, I watched the movie (which had a couple of good [non-acting] parts. To play the game though? wow

    Also, they say that Godfather part II is better than Godfather part I? The narrator is an idiot, check imdb... over 200,000 movie watchers disagree with him.

    i think i heard like from 3 to 4 of the games in there.... and just from what i have seen some were extremely bad that other games should not even be talked of in this.

    How did Bionic Commando and Dark Athena get nominated for "Most Disappointing"?! Those games got like 9.0 out of 10!
    Also, you can't say A Boy and his Blob is one of the best noone played when it's *barely a month old*!

    Well, these character have either been spending their entire life in a gym or have been jucing up on as many steriods they could off screen in the game. Their muscles are just overkill and are cheesy.

    I noticed that too. I think it was the PS2/Wii (crappy) versions that were nominated worst use, and the superior PS3/360 versions nominated for best use.
