Toontown headed for consoles
Sony Online label picks up rights to make Disney's kid-friendly MMO game on connected consoles.
Platform Publishing, a label of Sony Online Entertainment, today announced that it has secured the rights to bring its massively multiplayer Disney's Toontown Online kids' game to consoles. Additionally, it will be bringing the existing PC version of the game to retail stores for the first time this fall. The boxed version of the game will retail for $19.95, which includes a two-month subscription to the $9.95-a-month service. Toontown has been available directly from the game's official Web site since June 2003. For more information on the kid-safe online game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
