    The trailer wasn't meant to show off the graphics; it was meant to show off the monk. D3 prefers their games to be fun rather than look pretty. If you want something that looks pretty go watch a movie.

    I'm going to tell everyone here that hasn't played the diablo series... these graphics are not going to reflect in any way to d3... they just pieced a little trailer together... youtube diablo2 cut scenes... they were top notch at there time... and I can guarantee that the d3 graphics for there cutscenes are going to be nothing short of amazing. Everyone who's played the series will agree with me on that. As for ppl on the fence about getting it... i suggest you try diablo 2 lod... if you have an interest towards it.. GET D3 NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!... the game will be epic!

    Awesome trailer. If there was a battle between a Paladin and this Monk, I wonder who would win? This character looks to be the ULTIMATE holy badass. Diablo 3 is gonna be sooooo sweet when it finally gets here!

    The trailer's a li'l shallow on the fight scene between the monk and the demon. If u see, the backgrounds during the fight scene are almost non-existent. But the description of monk class is pretty impressive, and having completed both previous games and their expansions, I am eagerly waiting for this one...

    How can anyone complain about the graphics based off of a trailer? Name one game where the graphics of the trailer and that of the game were the same. Find something worthwhile to complain about or find something better to do with your lives.

    I played diablo 1 diablo 2 and all diablos in the game world,i am waiting for this one,but the graphics in this trailer is very bad i think in the game will be better

    GDI, so many people complaining about the graphics. The amount of fun in the game has next to nothing to do with how good the graphics are. Granted, I hate Diablo and Blizzard, and I will undoubtedly think this game is terrible independently of the graphics. But damn, if I found a game released today with the same gameplay as Baldur's Gate with the same 1998 graphics, new favorite game. I guess Diablo is just such a terrible series that graphics are one of their major, if not only selling points.

    yeah this doesnt look that great surprisingly. im actually shocked. maybe activion has really messed with blizzard or blizzard has just gotten too big for their britches which i can definately believe.

    Wow... what happened to Blizzard? I mean, the graphic is definitely worse than D2. Seriously... they aren't planning to put this clip on the final product, are they?

    The character is not as intriguing as the assassin was in the D2 expansion. Never was a fan of martial arts style characters in my Diablo games. I agree the graphics are terrible. I hate the WoW look they gave D3. Turns my stomach really since the Diablo series has been part of my gaming experience for so long, to see this gay looking art is frustrating, but I will still give it a shot.

    It would be nice if there was just a few seconds of gameplay.
    Anything other then movie clips. As a long time fan of the series the clip itself doesnt look the greatest

    They should have made the monk look alot more chunky/fat , it would add alot more variety to the characters look as a whole...

    I don't really care about the classes because they are all similar to the classes in Diablo 2: Witch doctor = Necromancer, Wizard = Sorceress, Monk = Assassin with upgrades. And the next class will probably be the druid. Still. the game looks pretty nice.

    Does anyone understand that this is an unfinished product and that Bliz is just giving you a snippet of the the awesomeness therein? This is by no means a polished, completed project. Keep that in mind when viewing these clips. They're not meant to show you what the game will look like when it's done. That said, I will likely play the monk first because of his apparent awesomeness!
