City of Heroes beta contest opens

Beta testing for the superhero online role-playing game City of Heroes is currently a very limited affair, with fewer than a thousand testers participating in the battles over Paragon City. GameSpot Complete members now have the chance to win one of 60 exclusive places in the beta test for this promising online game. Sign up now on the GameSpot City of Heroes contest page.

The City of Heroes beta contest will run from March 1 to March 3. Winners will be randomly selected and receive notification by email by March 8. The contest is open only to GameSpot Complete members who are over the age of 18 and residents of the US or Canada.

City of Heroes is an online RPG that's home to an entire universe of heroes. When it's released this spring, thousands of players will be able to take on the roles of super powered heroes in a vast 3D world. For more details on the game, check out our previous coverage.
