Microsoft reveals Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty
The first retail expansion pack for the online role-playing game Asheron's Call will include a variety of new features.
Microsoft today announced its upcoming role-playing game expansion, Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty. The standalone expansion will add an all-new area to explore, new housing and storage features, and a number of new quests, dungeons, and treasures to the massively multiplayer online game.
The new area featured in the expansion is the sprawling island of Marae Lassel, which will be accessible to players of all levels who purchase the Asheron's Call expansion pack. Players will also have the option to purchase their own homes on designated plots of land, and they will be able to use their homes as storage facilities. Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty also builds on the epic storyline featured in the original game.

Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty is in development at Turbine Entertainment, and it will be available this holiday season for an approximate retail price of $19.95, which will include one free month of online play.
