@dimok2008 : Probably because there's already a game dedicated entirely to Metallica? Anyway, I kinda like this list. Don't know everything on there, but a few of my favourite songs are on there...

Led Zeppelin will never be on GH or RB because Jimmy Page doesn't want to, he don't want his songs on video games... Why?
    I have no idea

Decent song list for the most part. However, it could have been way better. The game is WAY too easy, the only challenging songs are Van Halen-Hot For Teacher, and Joe Satriani-Satch Boogie. Other than those the track list is not very hard. They need to put songs in that make your arm tired after you play it and stuff that's freaking fun this list is a bit boring. We need more Van Halen, In Flames definitively, and not from their new albums either, get a few songs from the albums Colony; Whoracle; The Jester Race; and Clayman. Give us some more Iron Maiden, stuff like Purgatory; Hallowed Be Thy Name; Gangland; The Pilgrim. More Muse would also be nice I would like to be able to pick GH and play Hysteria, and not have to deal with the RB notes (whoever decided on those was a douche). Other songs include Stockholm Syndrome; Fury; Exo-Politics; and New Born. Really anything from Steve Vai, and anything else from Joe Satriani. It'd be cool to have some RED; Demon Hunter; Killswitch Engage; and Disturbed. AFI would be great to put on here, and have songs like Silver and Cold; Kiss And Control; The Killing Lights; and Summer Shudder. And for God's sake get more Deep Purple on here! I would like to play songs like Highway Star; Space Truckin'; Burn; Stormbringer; and Fireball. And when the heck is Led Zeppelin finally gonna get into GH or RB!!!!!!!!!

dude this is a GREAT game...i got it 2 days ago and im addicted...the setlist is awesome...with a few exceptions...(la bama and on the road again)...but 1 thing that pisses me off about this game is that "Pull Me Under" by Dream Theater isnt really in it

I was gonna say I'd seen some of these songs already on RB2... But, seriously, I can't say I'm too impressed with what's been offered here. Blondie? Seriously?? I will applaud the Hendrix songs, though. With RB2 having 500 songs into the holidays, I'd say GHWT has some catching up to do.
I played a demo last night, and I think I like the RB guitar better. What really interests me is the drum set, which could be a deciding factor. I'd also like to see what the song creator can do.
So, if GHWT wants to win my $190 over RB2, they'll have to start pumping out new tracks soon (and please, no more RB repeats).

you know GH 3 and GH/WT are lacking Megadeth songs the first and second have them. But this list is pretty sweet still.
